MODAL VIBRATION
A modal vibration helps to determine the vibration characteristics
of a mechanical structure or component,
showing the movement of different parts of the structure
under dynamic loading conditions. The natural frequencies
and mode shapes are important parameters in the design
of a structure for dynamic loading conditions.
MODAL RESPONSE
A modal response is how structures respond to varying types of vibration.
DYNAMIC RESPONSE
Dynamic response is a type of structural analysis which covers the behavior of a structure
subjected to dynamic loading. Dynamic loads include hydraulic shock, wind, snow,
earthquakes, and blasts. This additional pressure puts stress on the piping material
and its joints.
